I need help on #2 50 gallon barrel of milk is 6% butterfat. HOw much skim milk (no butterfat) should be misxed to make milk that is 3% butterfat?

So far i got 50x.06= 3
i dont know what do do for skim milk and for the final .03x+1.5

Would be excellent if u can help

skim milk would be 0 for butter fat because it has no fat in a sense it is like water (0)

how do you simplify # 3 on the worksheet?

Wyona, you take out the greatest monomial factor in the denominator and the numerator. Then you factor the numerator, you should now what to simplify after you did the above things:)
