Last weekend I had lunch with a friend who is a recruiter. The companies that she recruits for pay high salaries and have amazing benefits. Unfortunately, she cannot find enough candidates to fill these positions. Do you want to guess why? They lack the mathematical and engineering knowledge required for these jobs.
I was just watching an interview with those at the forefront of manufacturing in the United States. They are also having trouble filling the positions, the job openings, that they have available. You want to guess why again?
