Problem Solving Using Inequalities

p.195 (1,3,5,7)

Chapter 4 Test on Monday.

MATHCOUNTS online challenge started off well.  Some students have pointed out that there are two differet places:  Mathletics and American Math Challenge.  Make sure you are completing problems on the American Math Challenge pages.  There are 2 ways to earn points:  complete course material or compete against others.  Anyone else who would like to participate needs to see me, so I can try to get Mathletics to add you.

Mr. Gerson, could you maybe explain how to complete the sheet and templates that you handed out to 4th period?? I am confused.........

Bryan,
I think the cross section is the shape you see when you look at the front of the thing you constructed (not from the top). Then you calculate the area of that shape divided by the area of the imaginary rectangle that borders it to get the Cm. Read the worksheet. It tells you what to do.
