today, we learned about slopes. delta means the chinging in.
example:
(2,2) (8,9)
first, subtract 8-2, then subtract 9-2. , then you would get six and seven. after that, you would get 7 over 6.
ashley kim period 6 (:

Students should still post to this date. I'll approve the comments if they come in too late.

Journel Entry,

Today in class, me learned about the rise, run, and slope ( like reviewed not learn ). You had to subtract the 2 coordinates and either way worked fine.

For Example:
a. (-2,3) (3,5)

(3,5)
-(-2,3) <-use distributive property
__________

= (3,5)
+(2,-3)
___________
(5,2)

The slope is (5,2)
The you would put it in a fraction form where Y is the numerator and x is denominator. So the final answer would be.......
m= 2/5 ( m is used for slope)

:D DID I MAKE IT IN TIME?... I DID IT 30 MINUTES BEFORE TOMMOROW :)

today we learned about slope intercepts and delta. delta means to change in. an example of this is (2,2) (8,9)
x y
(8,9)
-(2,2)
________
(6,7) = 7/6

or 9-2 = 7
____ ___
8-2 = 6

sorry this isnt very straigh or anything....
