Today we learned about X-intercept and Y -intercept. When the line passes through the X axis that is a X-intercept and a Y -intercept is when the line passes through the Y axis. BY making X or Y zero you can sole for the other variable.

Today we learned that the y-intercept is when a line intercepts the y-axis. and the x-intercept is when the line intercepts the x-axis. so when it says graph useing intercepts you have to find ang graph the x and y intersects.if your solving for the y then you have to get y by itself,EX:y-x=3 (add x to both sides)y=3-x. your tring to find y when x=0 so make x=o y=3-0 y=3 so y=3 and do the same thing to solve for x

Karine, you have to include 0 on months like january and must include slashes and for the year you need to put in 19.
Make sure there are 10 digits
example:01/01/1996

In class we learned about Graphing by intercepts. the x- intercpet is the point at which the line crosses the x-axis (x,0). The y-intercept is the point at which the line crosses the y-axis (0,y). So yeah that is what we learned . it was easy thanks mr.gerson.
