Use a model to demonstrate: number line model, atomic model, or another one.
Wind Ensemble is going to Washington, D.C., and we have not had a student group go for a couple of years. Is anyone else interested in reintroducing a summer trip to D.C.? We only need a combination of 20 students and parents to make it happen.

umm where can i get more info about the trip 2 D.C.??
hey! we have math homework
i dont understand the model thing what r we suppose to do?
do we have to draw a number line for problens 1-7 on the homework???
dang, one for each problem?????
theres no refresh button on this old computer
this is like my first time questioning
same here but mine is brand new
we can demonstarate every question by a number line, a atomic model, and some other thing
hey kent, u mean we demonstrate for every problem on our homework? i stil dont understand
HI what do we demonstrate using the numberline? Some one please explain!
ok thanks but i'm going to stick with a number line
no only 1-7 on both pages
Would it kill you guys to stop wasting space by saying hi? I look at the post and it says like 50 comments, so I assume someone needs a question answered. But when I go on it is about 48 comments saying hi.
Yes, please stop the spamming.
OR ELSE...
D.C? Awesome :D
Like sean said where can e get more info about the possible D.C. trip??
wow a lot of 4th period people....
yay 50 comments!
and what happened to my question
anyone able to answer?
I know right Sean and Eric i just came home i go on and i see THIS. And i was like....... ok i won't include that part but anyways. Dude really? Willy I could care less who has first post. Matteo, Kyle, Jose, David....etc. If you want to say something on the blog don't say hi, this blog is for educational purposes not for......spamming. Oh and Kent i really dont want to know where you are right now... Robert don't ask personal stuff on here like "wats ur email" Kyle we know your name is Kyle that's a bit obvious Dude Sean and Eric I just noticed that all these people are from my class :P what happened to all the people in your classes? You can get more info about the DC trip from Mr. Gerson. Oh and Eric what would you do if they did continue spamming i want to know xD
wow natasha! haha
YAY! D.C, trip is gonna be soo much fun, but theres one in the summer too?
really? i didnt know that! and april its supposed to be an educational blog!
sorry... hee hee hee. Ok so the D.C. trip in the summer is for a student group?
Does that mean that we can sign up if we want to go for a school trip?
@Natasha: nothing. XD
However, I think that students should seriously be more mature on this blog. First, too much spam makes it harder for people to ask questions because all of the spam is obscuring it. Furthermore, TAs and other students that are trying to weed out questions will waste their time reading posts such as "Hi" or "First Post". This blog is for discussing problems and questions, and it is NOT a chatbox. Thus, instead of typing "hi" or something unecessary, please try to answer other student's questions.
awww i thought you actualy had something in mind D:
wow, i wasted time reading this and it was fer nothing... well, fer the homework do we have to do three models, or pick one and do only one?
ikr natasha, but anyways hayato, you can do both, neither and do something else, or just one you can do whatever model you want
o, so only one is fine?
yes one is alright
ok, thx guys, well not guys but yea
ur welcome, i to wasted 10 minutes reading all these comments-hi,hi,hi, im at ur house! me-"..." really?
IKR?! to think most of the ppl saying this is in my class too -_-;
Um on the last part of p68, it tells us to add without using a number line. How do we show our work?
use other ways kiana, he says it right on the post...
oh. tehe... riight:)
Wait! So we have to make a number line for problems 1-7 on both pages?
heyy gloriaa:) and yes you have to use a number line or you can choose another model
Dang it! i have to redo like half of my homework!!!
omg. Willy's doing the first comment thing! :P WOWW
@Paige: :(
ok...i can be serious >:| (:
i know :P
I deleted 25 comments or 33% of them. This is not a social networking site. This is for people to help clarify algebra issues or share math related topics with each other. I really do not want to assign penalties for foolishness.
If we have the interest for D.C., I will share all of the details with you. It would include day and night tours of D.C. (including International Spy Museum and National Holocaust museum) , Colonial Williamsburg, Historic Jamestown, Yorktown.
Hi Mr. Gerson! I FINALLY figured out what was wrong when i was trying to log in (:
@Mr. Gerson:
Is the D.C. trip in the summer? Or is it spring break?
I would totally go for the D.C. trip. If you guys do plan on going count me in. :) Im guessing it'll be during spring break, when Wind Ensemble goes, that makes the most sense. lol
