Each period chose to focus on something different today. One period requested the even answers to yesterday's assignment be given while another class chose to have me work out a bunch of those problems rather than give answers. One class chose to just have me work out another sample problem from yesterday's lesson. A fourth class chose to focus on #28, and we had 3 different students present their problem. Isn't it interesting that one of my classes was not interested in any of these things? I told you that you always have a choice even when it seems like there is no choice, so make good choices.

#GATE Optional Assignment
Speaking of choices. You do not need to be a GATE student to choose the GATE optional assignment. You need to want a higher degree of challenge than the normal assignment offers. Even though there are fewer problems, the assignment should take just as long if not longer. Hopefully, there is less generic practice with more challenge. GATE students are not required to choose the alternate assignment.

Checking your answers is always required. Sometimes we can only show that our answers are REASONABLE.
is it 29 or 39. in class it said 39 but on the bullog it says 29?

Hannah, think of these problems as regular equtions. Whatever you do on one side, you do to the other. Do that until all you have left is the formula on one side and the variable that it solves for on the other.
