Integers and the Number Line (CA SS: 2.0)

We discussed the definitions and relationships for opposites and absolute value. We looked at the relationship between coordinates and graphs for number lines and coordinate planes. We reviewed the sets of numbers and other vocabulary.

p.57 (1,7,9,13,15,19,23,31,49,53) and p. 61 (1-15:odd)

Karine,
Number 13, and 15 say graph and that doesn't mean on graph paper, it means graph on a number line.

Karine, I don't think so. I think you're supposed to draw a # line on the paper you used for the other problems.

Karine- no we are not graphing on graph paper. We are graphing the integers on number lines that we draw ourselves.

The math h.w. was really easy, but I have a question on number 13 and 15. I was checking my answers and the number line in the back of the book was different than mine. Did we have to have our number line how it's shown in the back of the book?

Saloni, the number lines are different because you probably used different intervals.

Nick is right. Since the summary posting is new this year, I need help remembering, and first period sneaked by again without reminding me. Someone remind me tomorrow during first period.
